you will always find Marcella's landmark dishes... you cannot NOT taste her
ribollita (Tuscan bread soup), tagliatella alla Boscaiola, penne alla Chianina,
or the Mugello potato tortelli with butter and sage. Other dishes that cannot
be missed are the tortelloni stuffed with peppers and eggplant and the ricotta
and spinach ravioli with meat or tomato sauce. In the hunting season you definitely
should try the pappardelle with wild boar or hare sauce.

with the famous Florentine beefsteak? Or do you wish to try the roast chicken,
rabbit, pigeon, lamb, pork, liver, or a nice grilled dish of spare ribs and
sliced steak. One of the specialties of the house is fried chicken, rabbit
and lamb, served with fried vegetables (eggplant zucchini, zucchini flowers,
mushrooms), depending on the season, together with polenta and fried potatoes.
, you can choose among various mouses
made with either lemon, citrus fruits or berries; or how about a piece of Fedora
cake, Cake with cream or some excellent cheese cake. And then there are the
blackberry and apricot pies. And if you are in to traditions we strongly recommend
the "cantuccini di Prato" with Vin Santo!

the Pomino red wine, Nipozzano del Marchese Frescobaldi, a red Brunello di
Montalcino; or why not a red wine and a Nobile di Montepulciano, not to forget
the excellent house wine.
